Dentro de las actuaciones musicales de los «Veranos de la Villla» y en el nuevo espacio de La Puerta del Ängel tendrá lugar la actuación de uno de los más importantes y conocidos cantantes africanos, el senegalés Youssou N’Dour.

Galardonado con un premio Grammy, por su último álbum Egypt, en el año 2005. Puso en el mundo la música popular de Senegal el mbalax. Máximo exponente de la música pop fusión internacional, mezcla música tradicional africana y senegalesa con reggae, jazz y rock fue nombrado «Artista Africano del Siglo».
