Cabo Verde pide el apoyo de Ouattara a la candidatura de Cristina Duarte a la presidencia del Banco Africano de Desarrollo

La Ministra de Sanidad , Cristina Fontes Lima, solicitó el apoyo del Presidente de la República de Costa de Marfil, Alassane Ouattara, a la candidatura de Cristina Duarte a la presidencia del Banco Africano de Desarrollo (BAD). Duarte quiere sucesder al ruandés Donald Kaberuka.

Durante una audiencia en Abiyán, Cristina Fontes presentó al Jefe de Estado de Costa de Marfil, las ambiciones de Cabo Verde para dirigir el banco, así como la contribución al desarrollo económico de nuestro país. Estuvo presente en la reunión el Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Charles Koffi Diby.

Las elecciones a la presidencia del Banco Africano de Desarrollo (BAD) se llevarán a cabo en mayo de 2015, en el marco de la reunión general anual de esta institución financiera.
